HSBC city ride

Down at the Nottingham riverside embankment today for the HSBC and British Cycling city ride.

Great event to get all ages out on their bikes. The roads around the area are closed so nice and safe for the youngsters.

The course is just 6km long. It includes a Sir Chris Hoy sprint challenge, a ride through the iconic Nottingham Forest Football Club Stadium.

Loads going on at the start line including music, virtual reality “lifecycle”, bib naming, food and drinks. I’ve even seen Olympic Champion swimmer, Rebecca Adlington.

The event is completely free. Can’t believe there aren’t more people down here.
